In addition to working from clinics/on a mobile basis, Sarah is happy to get involved in events and corporate work.
In London, she worked at the busy Walk-In Backrub in Soho for a year, delivering seated shiatsu chair massage to clients on a daily basis, and was hired as an independent practitioner to provide on-site massage treatments to teachers in schools post-Ofsted and at the end of term.
In the north west region, she has provided massage at pamper parties, and for businesses seeking to motivate and reward their employees. References are available on request, with rates starting at £250 per day, less for shorter bookings.
Corporate
Sarah worked in an office from the age of 15 for nearly 20 years, in which time she developed a successful career in marketing/PR and communications – working across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
She has a good understanding of the office environment, the factors that can cause problems for staff and how massage can improve staff morale and reduce levels of stress.
Working in a corporate environment to deliver short seated treatments to staff is not only a treat that can engage and improve employee performance, it can also reduce absenteeism and sickness from common musculo-skeletal problems that arise in the workplace, including:

– carpal tunnel syndrome
– lower back pain
– shoulder and neck pain
– headaches and migraines
Events
Sarah is available to hire for events of any size and duration to deliver short massage treatments – anything from five minutes upwards. This could be a perfect addition to a range of events, from a pamper party, to a hen night or a city centre conference.
Packages and group rates are available, with a minimum booking of only one hour needed to secure Sarah’s services.
Festivals
Prior to covid, Sarah went on the road to provide massage therapy in the healing fields at some of the UK’s best known festivals. She has previously worked at Download, Latitude, Boomtown, and The Big Chill amongst others.
Changes in the festival scene caused by Covid, including a dose of Long Covid for Sarah means that this is currently on the back burner, but she is always open to ideas and possibilities.
Seated shiatsu
Seated shiatsu massage, often also called on-site massage, is perfect for events and parties. Delivered in a massage chair, provided by the therapist, which supports clients of all ages and sizes to comfortably relax, the client doesn’t need to take off any clothes or worry about getting oily bits or messed up hair. The therapist works through clothes, using acupressure/Shiatsu techniques to stimulate energy flow and release tension. Choose from sessions which last anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes per client, making it easy to plan an event no matter what the time available is, or how big or small your budget.
